This week’s episode of NXT concluded with an unannounced visit by the Undertaker, who showed up after Hayes and Bron Breakker’s main event.
Following the broadcast, Hayes, dubbed “the future of the WWE” by fans, and the Undertaker walked backstage together.
Before walking off into the distance, the two stopped at the top of the ramp, turned to acknowledge the audience, and raised their fists in unison, recreating the Deadman’s signature pose.
The WWE released a post to their 13.5million fans on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, and fans went ballistic.
One wrote: “Bron + Melo = Future of the WWE.”
A second said: “I feel happy for the fans attending NXT today. I wish I could be there in person to see the phenom.”
Another gasped: “This is awesome.”
With a fourth commenting: “The WWE NXT crowd got real lucky tonight.”
Tuesday’s edition of NXT was the Undertaker’s first appearance on the show.
The Undertaker made his iconic entrance and rode down to the ring in his motorcycle before chokeslamming Breakker, thus ending the episode.
NXT brought out all the stars on Tuesday to combat rival All Elite Wrestling’s show.
The show featured the likes of John Cena, Paul Heyman, Cody Rhodes, Asuka, LA Knight, and The Brawling Brutes.
NXT airs live every Tuesday at 8pm ET on USA Network.
