A FASHION expert has revealed the pair of shoes she’s used to travel all over the world.

Katie Jackson is a fashion guru who has travelled to far-flung corners of the globe.

In a recent article in Travel + Leisure, she raved about the must-have shoe that’s been one of her travel essentials for the last decade.

Katie purchased the sandals on a trip to Hawaii after she forgot to pack her own pair.

She wrote: “At $75 (£59), they were a lot more than I wanted to spend, but the saleswoman assured me these weren’t just any sandals. These were OluKai’s Ohana Quick-Dry Flip Flops.”

Her first pair of flip-flops later her a whopping seven years, Katie repurchased a second pair.

She added: “I’m now nearly two years into my second pair, and despite rocking them on seven continents this year alone they’re showing no signs of wear and tear.”

The Olukai Ohana Quick-Dry Flip Flops have a cushioned drop-in footbed, which offers arch support.

They’re also water-resistant and quick-drying, which means they can get thoroughly soaked but will dry out quickly.

The sandals are available in a range of sizes and colours including black, white, coral, and navy.

They have a 4.7/5 star rating from over 7,500 reviews on Amazon with prices starting from £73 for a pair.

One person wrote: “I bought a pair of these 10 years ago and have never looked back.

“I originally thought they were too expensive for flip-flops, but these are amazing!”

While another added: “Love these flip-flops so much, they have a nice arch and are very comfortable.”

A third person said: “I have hiked in these, and have worn them almost every day all summer for the past few years and they’ve lasted really well.”

But these aren’t the only sandals that holidaymakers have been raving about, earlier this year a woman posted a video about the shoes she’s travelled the world in.

In a video she posted on TikTok, Lexi (@lovelylivingtravel) raved about the Teva sandal.

She said: “These shoes are just the best. The bottom is like a sneaker, so you have the grip and the traction for when you’re hiking.”

Teva sandals are also waterproof and come with an adjustable velcro strap too.

She also said they were “easy to clean” and can be attached to your bag easily.

Sun Travel also tested out the shoes for themselves – and was also just as obsessed.

And here’s why you should never wear sandals to the airport.
