NO-ONE wants their expensive iPhone stolen but if the worst happens it’s best to be prepared.
Even if you have a passcode on your iPhone, sadly thieves can still wipe it to sell on.

But as Tiktoker innovationhunter reveals, there is a way to make their crime less lucrative – and maybe even get your handset back.
The first thing many muggers tend to do is put your iPhone into airplane mode.
This blocks any signals.
And they don’t need your passcode to do this, they just need to slide down and it’s available.
But there’s a clever trick which allows you to remove it so the thief can’t stop airplane mode, giving you a small chance to track your iPhone down.
So, go to Settings and select Face ID & Passcode.
Scroll down until you see the heading titled ‘Allow access when locked’.
Find Control Centre and switch it off.
You should also switch off the one that says Accessories too.
Next, go back to the Settings and head to Privacy & Security.
Tap Location Services and make sure it’s turned on.
Finally, go back and select Apple ID.
Choose Find My and check all the options are switched on.
This way, you can log onto Apple’s Find My website and get a quick location update.
