THERE’S a little-known beach in Europe that has blue waters and no crowds – but you’ll need to climb a ladder to get there.
The beaches in Greece can get very crowded, but there are still some secluded spots where holidaymakers can relax in peace.

Tucked away on the Greek island of Milos, Tsigrado Beach has become a hit with tourists thanks to its novelty entrance.
The beach can only be accessed through a small crevice that leads to a wooden ladder and a piece of rope.
Taking to TikTok, Emanuela Seminara, who is known as manusemi on the social media platform, posted a video detailing her arrival onto the sandy beach.
In the footage, she can be seen scaling a ladder barefoot before climbing through a sandy crevice to leave the beach.
The video has had more than one million views with users divided over whether the journey onto the beach is worth it.
One person added: “The climb is so worth it for the beach.”
While someone else wrote: “Oh no, I’m way too lazy for that.”
In the comments, Emanuela revealed that she had cuts, bruises, and scrapes on her feet from climbing the ladder and scaling the rocks.
But TikTok user, Jonathan Fraga, also shared his journey onto the beach – this time wearing much more sensible footwear.
In his video, he described the beach as a “hidden gem” and referred to it as “heaven on Earth” in the comments.
Holidaymakers have also taken to TripAdvisor to share their thoughts on the Greek beach.
One person wrote: “The water is absolutely spectacular and a perfect temperature for swimming.”
While someone else added: “If you make it to Milos and you can climb down the semi-challenging crevice to the beach you absolutely must do so.”
But other beach-goers weren’t as impressed by the secluded spot.
A third person added: “The excitement is in climbing ladders down and back up to it, but it is small and gets crowded.”
For those Brits who want to brave the ladders, ropes, and small walkways, there are several ways to reach the beach.
From Adamas port, visitors can either hire a car and drive for 20 minutes to the entrance of the beach or hop on a local bus service for €2 (£1.73).
Regardless of whether they’ve arrived via car or bus, visitors will still need to climb onto the beach.
But for those who aren’t able to make the trek, the beach can also be accessed via boat with many tour operators offering excursions to Tsigrado and other nearby beaches.
There aren’t any facilities on the beach so make sure to bring snacks, drinks, parasols, towels, and anything else you may need.
Once on the beach, holidaymakers will be treated to crystal-clear waters, golden sands, and stunning views.
And this isn’t the only place in Greece that holidaymakers are raving about, many people have dubbed one island the “new Mykonos” because it’s cheaper and just as beautiful as other islands.
