Brits may not realise that Spanish McDonald’s serve beer alongside their meals.
And a McDonald’s in Barcelona is one of the best places to enjoy one.
The restaurant, found on Passeig de Gràcia street, is built in a beautiful building itself.
Tourists can buy local beers along with their meals, including Mahou and Estrella.
It’s not just beers that people have been raving about, as the menu has some unique options.
This includes a tortilla de patatas breakfast burger, which has a Spanish omelette between two buns, as well as as loaded fires with buffalo salsa sauce
It has a McCafe on-site as well, with people raving about the macarons and tiramisu.
Tourists have also raved about the views too.
The McDonald’s is opposite the UNESCO site Casa Batllo, build by Gaudi and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Barcelona.
Holidaymakers have shared their love of the restaurant online.
Someone wrote on Google that it was the “poshest McDonald’s” they’ve ever been to.
And another tourist surprisingly said it was the thing that “impressed them the most” after four days in Barcelona,
A third simply wrote: “The best McDonald’s I’ve seen.”
TikToker Kirsten who visited also shared a video on her account praising this particular Mcdonald’s.
She said: “This McDonald’s in Barcelona is three storeys tall, has a beautiful view, you get to shake your fries, and order beer with your meal.”
She praised the “Grand Extreme Burger” which has Gouda cheese sticks inside it, as well as the cornetto McFlurry.
Kirsten inspired others to visit – one TikToker commented: “I’m going to Spain Barcelona just for this McDonald’s.”
