Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has made a sensational return to the WWE this week, appearing on WWE Raw and thrilling the crowd in San Diego.
The WWE legend and Hollywood star, 51, who officially retired from wresting in 2019, had a standing ovation from fans as he walked out on stage – before delivering a powerful speech that seemingly challenged fellow WWE champion Roman Reigns, billed as his ”cousin” in the sport.
It means Aussie WWE fans have a high chance of seeing The Rock live in action in Perth in February during the “Elimination Chamber,” or WrestleMania 40 in April in the U.S.

During his speech, The Rock asked the crowd if they think he should ”sit at the head of the table” when he goes for dinner – a dig at Tribal Chief Reigns who often says he sits at the head of the table while performing for fans.
“I’m gonna go get something to eat… Should The Rock sit in a booth? Or should The Rock sit at the bar?” The Rock said in his speech to cheers from the crowd.
He added: “Or should The Rock sit… at the head of the table?”
