The new coaches that get Brits from across UK to European cities for under £25

A NEW coach service will soon take Brits from the UK to several European cities for less than £25.

Flixbus, a German bus and coach company, is launching new routes from UK cities like Bristol, Sheffield, and Leeds to Belgium and the Netherlands.

Founded in 2011 in Munich, the coach company has expanded in the last decade to provide services across the UK, Europe, North America, and Brazil.

While the company already offers services to Europe from the UK, many Brits will need to change coaches in London.

But just in time for the school summer holidays, Brits will be able to board buses from a number of cities across the UK.

From July 13, Brit holidaymakers will be able to board direct buses to Antwerp, Utrecht, and Amsterdam from Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Cambridge, Stratford, and North Greenwich.

The new routes will offer direct services between the UK and Europe – meaning holidaymakers won’t need to change buses in London.

Sun Online Travel have found tickets to Amsterdam from Nottingham for £29.99, to Antwerp from Cambridge for £23.99, and from Leeds to Utrecht for £31.99.

Just over a week later, on July 21, the bus company will be launching additional services to Bruges, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam from Bristol.

Sun Online Travel found direct coaches from Bristol to Rotterdam for £61.99, to Amsterdam for £70.98, and to Bruges for £87.99.

Meanwhile coaches from Bristol with a transfer at London Victoria Coach Station were considerably cheaper at £35.98 for a one-way ticket.

Journeys from London to Europe offer the best bargains with a coach ticket from the English capital to Bruges costing just £17.99 for a one-way ticket.

The European coach company will be extending its services from London to Plymouth too, with routes also covering Newquay, Hayle, and Penzance.

From July 20, services to Plymouth, Taunton, and Exeter will run more frequently.

Sun Online Travel found tickets to Plymouth from London starting from £8.99.

Ticket prices include luggage, access to free Wi-Fi, and charging points.

And Flixbus coaches aren’t the only way Brit holidaymakers can reach Europe without having to fly.

Earlier this year, French train company Midnight Trains confirmed plans to launch train routes from Paris to Milan and Venice next year.

They also confirmed additional routes to launch from Edinburgh, as well as connections to Copenhagen and Berlin.

Another route European Sleeper will be running is from Amsterdam to Barcelona – and Brits will be able to join along the way.
