The much-loved UK theme park that’s hiding an astonishing secret

A MUCH-LOVED theme park in the UK is hiding an amazing secret – do you know what it is?

While you’d expect to find rides and rollercoasters at a theme park, there are also a series of lesser-known gardens dotted around the site too.

The gardens, which pre-date the theme park, were laid out in the 18th Century by Capability Brown – an English landscape architect.

But they’ve stood the test of time, and remain on the site to this day.

The gardens give visitors a space to relax and unwind away from the rides, rollercoasters, and other attractions.

In total, there are 11 unique gardens across the theme park including the Victorian Garden, the African Garden, and the Forest Friends Garden.

One of the largest gardens is the Main Garden, which has 160-year-old Cedar trees.

Inspired by Japanese environments and wildlife, there’s also the Japanese Garden with water features, stone objects, and wooden gazebos.

Other gardens include John and Anne’s Garden, Jungle Falls, the Snakes and Ladders Garden, the Yin Yang Garden, the Rockery, and the Tropical Plants.

Parkgoers don’t need to pay extra to visit the gardens either as entry into each of them is included in the cost of an admission ticket.

Entry into the theme park costs £41.75 for a full-paying adult.

As well as the gardens, Paultons Park is also known for being the home of Peppa Pig World, voted the No.1 theme park on TripAdvisor.

Guests will find Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club, The Queen’s Flying Coach, Grandpa Pig’s Little Train, and Peppa’s Big Balloon in the Peppa Pig World.

Kids can also enjoy play areas, as well as meet and greets with Peppa Pig and George Pig.

Peppa Pig World isn’t the only attraction at Paultons Park, as there’s also Tornado Spring, a world set in a midwest desert resort town in the 1950s.

Other themed worlds include the Lost Kingdom, Critter Creek, and Little Africa.

And a Peppa Pig World even opened in Florida last year – and we tried it out.
