Kids between the age of 3 and 15 can get the tickets without paying a penny if they are dressed in their favourite book-themed outfit.
Not only that, but kids can get a £1 book token in exchange for a free book.
The offer is via lastminute.com as part of their “Eye Love World Book Day” scheme.
They explain on the website: “In celebration of this year’s World Book Day the lastminute.com London Eye is hosting the UK’s highest dress-up party from 2nd to 5th of March!
“We are offering 150 free rides a day for children (3-15 yrs) who visit us dressed in costume inspired by their favourite literary characters.
“Whether you’re a Dickens super fan, a Gryffindor at heart, a cheeky Tracy Beaker follower, or a Roald Dahl lover, we’re encouraging you to embrace your inner bookworm while taking in the inspiring views over London.”
To get the free tickets, you need to head to the London Eye booking office 15 minutes before your time slot.
Staff will then check the adult ticket and the child’s outfit before letting you onboard.
It is one free kids ticket per adult so make sure to being someone else if you have a few kids.
A new study by Travelbag found that the London Eye was the most loved landmark in the UK.
It beat places like Buckingham Palace for five-star reviews and the number of reviews.
If you fancy going to some other London attractions, you can save 45 per cent on tickets.
Atractiontickets.com has discounts on its combo ticket.
For example, the Madame Tussauds and London Eye combo ticket currently cost £50 for adults and £45 for children, which is a saving of 38 per cent compared to what you would pay at the door.
Or you can add one more attraction – either SEA LIFE London Aquarium, Shrek’s Adventure or The London Dungeon – and save 44 per cent.
