Earlier this year, Formula 1 and Tottenham Hotspur announced a partnership to deliver the in stadium electric karting facility and London’s longest indoor track.
Ahead of a launch date later in 2023, the official name of the new karting experience has been announced as F1 DRIVE- London.
The track is being built beneath the stadium‘s single-tier south stand, with the retractable pitch at the stadium providing them with enough space.
It has been constructed by leading track engineers and will offer “high speed, exciting racing”.
The karts will have variable power settings to allow for a wide-variety of skill and experience.
It promises to challenge adults, juniors and competitive racers alike when they get behind the wheel of this new F1 experience.
For anyone interested in taking part, or just finding out more, the F1 Drive – London social media channels have also been launched alongside the new name.
Brandon Snow, Managing Director, Commercial at Formula 1, said: “We are delighted to launch the F1 DRIVE – London brand and social channels today, taking another step towards opening this exciting new attraction.

Todd Kline, Chief Commercial Officer, Tottenham Hotspur, added: “We are thrilled with how the karting facility is taking shape and with the interest received since we announced the project in February.”
Even with the track set to open later this year, information is still being closely guarded.
The track layout and design of the e-karts will not be revealed until later this summer.
The opening date is also yet to be made public.
However, people can now register their interest to be one of the first on the grid ahead of the launch.
They can do that at the Tottenham Hotspur website or on the F1-Drive London site.
Alongside the experience, F1 and Spurs have said they will also develop a new driver academy programme to widen the motorsport talent pool and help identify the next generation of drivers.
The new deal will deliver educational activities for schools to engage local young people in motorsport and showcase career opportunities such as engineering and software development.
As part of the partnership, F1 will also collaborate with the Premier League club on sustainability initiatives that promote environmental responsibility.
