A CARIBBEAN island is offering travellers a free holiday in exchange for them doing the “easiest job ever”.
Many people often dream of packing up their lives and jetting off to live on a tropical island.

Now, Aruba is offering holidaymakers the chance to have a taste of that life, as they look to hire “the perfect weatherperson”.
In exchange for doing very little, the successful applicant will be treated to a six-night stay on the island.
The job of weatherperson is very simple in Aruba, due to how little the weather changes.
The country is known for its sunny skies, with more days of sun than any of the other island in the Caribbean.
What’s more, it’s also blessed with a consistent cooling breeze.
As is explained on the website where the job is advertised: “With consistently sunny skies and refreshing trade winds year-round, literally anyone could be Aruba’s weatherperson.”
The “job” simply involves being in charge of the weather reporting duties across Aruba’s social media channels.
For their troubles, the weatherperson will spend their week at the new Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort — just steps from Eagle Beach – home to some of the bluest water in the world.
Aruba Tourism Authority CEO Ronella Croes said that the job would help the island showcase their consistently good weather, which reduces the risk of people having to cancel their holidays.
She told Travel + Leisure: “So often, unexpected weather conditions force travellers to reschedule their long-awaited vacations.
“Fortunately, Aruba is blessed to have consistently clear, sunny skies, making it the perfect destination for visitors to explore and enjoy any time of the year.
“Through the ‘World’s Easiest Job’ campaign, we are aiming to find the perfect weatherperson to help us showcase the island’s wonderful weather.”
Anyone interested in the vacancy has been asked to visit aruba.com/WorldsEasiestJob, where they can submit their best 30-second Aruba weather report.
Applications are open from now until March 31.

Set between Skye and the West Coast of Scotland, the island’s population of two is looking to double in size by hiring a live-in Estate worker and their partner.
Rona can only be reached by private boat that runs once a week to and from the island, so it makes for a remote haven.
The island is seeking a full-time estate worker who will be in charge of a number of responsibilities that will allow the island’s manager to work on other projects.
On Hi Jobs, the Island’s Estate wrote: “Successful applicants will be able to fulfil a variety of roles including estate and property maintenance and management, housekeeping, logistics, and assisting with deer management, stalking & venison processing.”
Meanwhile, Britain’s most remote island was also looking to hire someone to work on site.
