A HIDDEN beach in a European holiday hotspot has wowed people online, who have described it as “magical”.
Finding a secluded spot to enjoy the warm weather is always difficult, especially in popular destinations.

However, such places do exist – it’s just a case of knowing where to look.
One such place where a hidden beach can be found is in Portofino in Italy – a place that has become so popular with tourists, new rules have banned them from congregating too long in certain spots.
However, Tiktoker Madeline Lu (@lu_madeline) showed off a secret beach that she knows about, that few other people are aware of.
In her video, she is first seen strolling down a narrow staircase with a beautiful blue sea just at the end of the pathway.
Once she gets to the bottom of the steps, she pans to the left to reveal a perfect little rocky ledge, jutting out into the water, opposite some grand looking buildings.
Although she’s not the only one using the spot, it is very far from busy, and would make a great day to spend a day out by the seaside in relative peace.
The video has since been seen more than 433,000 times, with lots of people amazed by the footage.
One wrote: “I need to go here.”
Another said: “I wanna go there so bad.”
A third simply added: “Magical”.
While the exact location of the beach isn’t made clear in Madeline’s video, others have pointed it out.
One of those is travel blogger Kelsey (@kelseyinlondon) who revealed that its name is Baia Cannone.
In her video, she demonstrated exactly how to find it.
After providing the directions and a walkthrough for anyone who wants to find it, she said: “You’ve arrived in paradise and there’s no entry fee”.
The secluded spot could be the perfect place to get a nice picture of the holiday village, with other visitors punished for lingering too long to try and get the perfect shot.
Two “red zones” have been introduced to avoid crowding in restricted areas, where visitors are known to pause for selfies.
Matteo Viacava, the mayor, said that the rules will put an end to “anarchic chaos” that he fears could become dangerous.
The ban was introduced over the Easter break when a 12 per cent rise in tourists saw 1.7million tourists visiting holiday hotspots in Italy.
The rules will remain in place until October 15 and are in force from the morning until 6pm.
Meanwhile, this hidden Spanish beach has bright blue waters and no crowds.
And here’s a list of hidden UK beaches that will be quiet this year – even during any heatwaves.
