Tesco shoppers rush to buy ‘dreamy’ white chocolate egg months before Easter

SHOPPERS are rushing to buy a white chocolate egg from Tesco – three months before Easter.

People have been itching to get their hands on a Terry’s Chocolate Orange white Easter egg, which costs £3.

The sweet treat was shared on the NewFoodsUK Instagram page this week.

It showed the unwrapped white chocolate egg and a bag of Terry’s Chocolate orange white mini eggs that also come in the box.

Shoppers were quick to share their thoughts.

One commented: “I need to get a bucket, my mouth is watering.”

Another simple wrote: “The dream”

While a third tagged her friend who said: “God tier chocolate.”

The Easter egg costs £3  and is only available in store and online at Tesco.

It’s important to bear in mind that if you order online, you will also have to pay for delivery.

We couldn’t find the same Terry’s Chocolate Orange egg on sale at any other supermarket.

But you can buy bags of white Chocolate Orange Mini Eggs for £1 from Tesco, Morrisons and Iceland.

Easter falls in early April this year, with Good Friday on April 7 and Easter Monday on April 10.

But retailers are already gearing up for the celebration.

Tesco, Iceland, Sainsbury’s and Ocado are already selling bags of Cadbury Mini Eggs for £3.75.

While Creme Eggs are being sold for 70p at Morrisons and 75p at Co-op.
