Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce officially on his way to Sydney in private jet: reports

This is not a drill! Travis Kelce is on his way to Australia right now.

We repeat, Travis Kelce is on his way right now to Australia to see his girlfriend Taylor Swift perform in Sydney this weekend.

That’s according to TMZ, which is reporting the Kansas City Chiefs tight end hopped on a private jet on Wednesday (overnight in Australia) to make it just in time for Swift’s first Sydney show this Friday.

Kelce has been quite the jetsetter in the last few days alone, with the NFL star being spotted playing golf in Las Vegas on Monday (Tuesday in Australia), then Los Angeles and Hawaii.

Swift, meanwhile, has been spotted out and about in Sydney as she gears up for the second half of her Eras Tour’s Australian leg.

On Wednesday, Swift visited Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park for a sound check before her first (of four) show on Friday. She also visited Sydney Zoo in Bungarribee, Blacktown.

On Tuesday, Swift was spotted enjoying dinner with her opening act Sabrina Carpenter in Surry Hills, with the duo arriving for dinner at Pellegrino 2000 about 7pm.

One diner told 9News about the moment Swift’s party walked in, saying there was “a bit of a kerfuffle” at the venue.

”My friend goes, ‘That kinda looks like Taylor Swift’ and my other friend goes, ‘She looks really tall’,” Sarah Monaha told 9News.

“I was starstruck, my heart was racing. I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, as if this is happening to me right now’,” she said. “We were freaking out as we were having our tiramisu.”

Monaha said Swift and Carpenter sat in a corner table in the downstairs “wine cellar area”, which has fewer tables than the upstairs section.

“She sat down in the corner and she ordered her wine and her security guards were on the table next to her,” she added.

Though the pop star’s presence sparked a flurry of excitement, Monaha noted none of the venue’s patrons approached Swift and allowed her to have “her dinner in peace”.

There’s been much speculation about if Kelce, who missed Swift’s record-breaking three shows in Melbourne last weekend, would make it Down Under for her Sydney shows.

Before his arrival was even confirmed, some Australian fans started a public campaign begging him to do a shoey at one of her concerts.
