Taylor Swift announces Australian dates for The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift has made millions of Aussie fans’ Wildest Dreams come true.

The singer announced new international dates for her The Eras Tour, confirming she will be bringing the show to Australia in 2024.

“Excuse me, hi I have something to say,” Swift began the announcement across social media on Wednesday morning.

“I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

The Anti-Hero singer will fly into Melbourne from Tokyo early next year, performing for two nights at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on February 16 and 17.

Then, after a week in Australia, Swift is set to play three shows in Sydney at Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park on February 23, 24, 25.

Singer Sabrina Carpenter will join the 33-year-old as her support act across all five of Swift’s Australian tour dates.

While other cities haven’t been listed in the schedule, there is a chance more dates could be added nearer to the time, with Swift wrapping up in Japan on February 10 and not travelling to Singapore until March 2.

At this stage, the singer will not be heading over to New Zealand.

Fans are required to pre-register online for tickets and pre-sale will begin from June 26, while general sale tickets will be available on June 30.
