He spoke in a video to his 3.5 million followers about “exhale scum”, defining it as “that stuff that builds up on the inside of your window just from breathing”.
The self-described “regular dad” then showed his viewers how they could use a cheap kitchen essential to tackle the pesky problem.
Bo, while sitting in the driver’s seat of a parked car, demonstrated wrapping a paper towel over the back of his hand.
He then raised it to the inside of the car’s front windscreen and wiped it from bottom to top with the back of his hand.
Bo said: “Put a paper towel on the back of your hand and wipe your window down this way.”
More than 1,000 comments were left beneath Bo’s video, as many thanked “dad” for his help.
One person said: “This is the nudge I needed to finally clean my car. Thanks, dad.”
Drivers planning to use Bo’s tip can purchase a large roll of multi-purpose kitchen towel for just £1.35 at Asda.
The resourceful dad, who goes by @DadAdviceFromBo on TikTok, said drivers should also be sure to wipe down their dashboards at least once a month, perhaps with car interior cleaning wipes.
For many drivers, it doesn’t take long for dust and grime to build up on the interior and exterior of their vehicles.
In an older video, Bo explained how car owners can keep their motors safe and tidy with a simple test.
He said: “Often overlooked can maintenance tip for you. If you can put a finger on the inside of your windshield and see a line you need to clean that right away.”
The dad added that drivers should be cautious about allowing “exhale scum” to sit on their windshields because it could interfere with their vision.
Bo explained: “If you don’t clean it off you won’t be able to see very well at night when the headlights are coming at you or during the bright sunlight.”
