SPORTS fans have been warned after a popular streaming service for TNT Sports quietly changed its prices.
Discovery+ has made small changes to its pricing tiers for some customers.

The channel is the main home for TNT Sports after it rebranded from BT Sport.
It provides football fans with access to UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches, as well as Premier League games.
Changes to the Discovery+ include the removal of one of the discounted annual subscription options on the tier that includes channels such as Eurosport.
There is also a rebranding of the service tiers, a few months after the costly “Premium” tier, which includes TNT Sports, was added.
However, the pricing changes will mostly affect those who subscribe to Discover+ directly.
This is because the channel is available for free on some of BT and Sky’s TV plans – usually on its Basic tier subscription.
Discovery+ have gone ahead with the removal of the discounted annual subscription for the ‘Standard’ plan.
Customers who plan to keep the service for a full year, will have to pay £83 per year, instead of the previously available £59.99 discounted price point, reports Cord Busters.
Discovery+ became the main digital home for TNT Sports, leading to the closure of the old BT Sport apps.
It can cost up to £29.99 per month if you want to subscribe with TNT Sports access, with this price remaining unchanged.
Viewers may also be annoyed to find that all Discovery+ tiers also include adverts, both on the live channels and or the on-demand content.
According to Discovery, there are fewer ads compared to traditional live TV.
But those who have already forked out for premium streaming will be left fuming with ad breaks thrown in.
Apart from football, Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, boxing, UFC and WWE programmes are also shown on the new home of TNT Sports.
The platform is also the destination for Eurosport channels, for all things cycling, tennis, snooker, motorsports, and the Olympic Games Paris 2024
Discovery+ is available as an app on most smart TVs, as well as Sky boxes like Sky Q and Sky Glass.
It’s also available on iOS and Android to watch on your phone.
If you’re looking for more free, there’s also UKTV Play for content from the W, Dave, Yesterday and Drama channels.
