Sneak peek of WhatsApp’s redesigned Android app with new look buttons and layout refresh

WHATSAPP is about to receive a major design overhaul, that will bring in a new style of buttons and even a fresh shade of green.

Let’s take a look at a leaked sneak peak of what’s to come.

Despite all of WhatsApp’s updates over the years, it has largely remained the same in terms of visuals.

But now it’s getting a sleeker, more modern facelift, according to images revealed by WABetaInfo.

From the bottom, the runner bar in dark mode is a slightly lighter grey than other uses of the colour on the platform.

This slight change gives it some separation from both the chat list and conversations

WhatsApp users are also getting updated chat bubbles for dark theme users.

A new green colour is set to be introduced for both light and dark modes.

While these changes are made for the Android app, onlookers have been quick to point out that iPhone users will not be left out.

However, it’s not yet clear how the new look will appear on iOS devices.

But similar enhancements were found in the iOS beta trial, according to WABetaInfo.

The Android app refresh is still under development, so don’t be surprised if you open WhatsApp to find the same old design.

The new-and-improved interface is not even ready for beta testing yet.

So, it really is just a sneak peak at what’s to come – for now, that is.
