SKY is bringing some festive magic to your TVs.
Customers can find out exactly where Santa is as he journeys across the world delivering presents.
SkySpecial feature found on Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q[/caption]
And it all starts with a special voice command using your remote.
The feature is available to anyone with Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream.
All you need to do is hold the mic button and say: “Where’s Santa?”
Alternatively, you can ask, “Santa Tracker”, “Where’s Santa Tracker?”, “Where is Santa right now?”, “Follow Santa” or “Is Santa coming tonight?”.
A magical screen will then popup showing you Father Christmas’s whereabouts.
Until Christmas Eve it’ll just show a countdown.
Once that’s finished, a map of the world will pinpoint his location in real time.
He usually starts with Australia, where Christmas arrives first, before travelling tirelessly around the rest of the world.
There are other Christmas-related Sky goodies too.
Saying, “Ho ho ho” or “for the little elves” will bring up stuff to watch for the kids.
Sky VIP customers can also get hold of a bonus free movie from the Sky Store.
Until December 31, you can redeem How the Grinch Stole Christmas or Love Actually.
Elsewhere, the company is offering free UK and international calls on Christmas Day for Sky Talk subscribers.
Those with Sky Mobile will get free mobile data on both Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Sky launched its brand new satellite-free TV service Sky Stream in October.
It uses broadband instead of satellite.
Sky already did something similar last year with Sky Glass, which packs all the tech into a TV set.
The firm has maintained that it’s still committed to satellite-based TV, with its Sky Q product still the most popular.
