Sky is offering free TV and Netflix to people who switch – but there’s a catch

PEOPLE are just realising they can watch Sky’s premium channels and Netflix without paying a penny.

It’s thanks to a new free trial being offered by Sky Stream – but there’s a catch.

It’s only available to those who switch to a Sky Stream plan.

Sky Stream, which launched last year, offers live on-demand shows online and via Sky’s Playlists feature.

It also offers free Netflix for a limited time, so viewers can have “all their apps in one place,” according to Sky.

Sky Entertainment, Disney+, Apple TV and Prime Video are also included in the package.

Although you will need to pay extra for the rival streamers.

You can buy Sky Stream from Sky for 18 months for £26 per month

To try it out, all you need to do is place an order for a Sky Stream box with Sky.

It’ll even be sent out the next day.

But remember, as with most free trials, the offer is limited to one month as part of buying a full subscription.

Once the free month is up, customers will be automatically enrolled into either a 31 day rolling plan or an 18 month contract.

Those signing up for the longer term option will enjoy one month for free followed by £26 a month for the rest of the term.

While those wanting a bit more flexibility will have to pay £29 per month – and unfortunately don’t get access to the free trial.

So, those who opt for the 18 month contract will receive the good gesture of a month on the house and £3 in monthly savings.
