Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal have reportedly tabled a staggering world-record £259m for Mbappe.

According to L’Equipe Barca have also expressed interest in the 24-year-old.

In fact, talks between PSG and the Blaugrana have already been scheduled.

However, the cash-strapped Catalan giants can’t compete financially with the rest of the competition.

The Spanish champions also can’t meet Mbappe’s astronomical release clause, which is reportedly in the region of £250million.

Instead, Barcelona are determined to offer a number of their star players in a swap deal.

Nevertheless, Xavi’s side is facing immense competition as rivals Real Madrid continue to pose as favourites.

PSG’s new manager Luis Enrique left the star striker out of his pre-season squad for the summer tour in Japan and South Korea.
