The match took place at a packed-out London Stadium and was also watched by 2.7 million concurrent viewers on the YouTube stream.

The video itself has been viewed nearly 12 million times.

Throughout the stream, donations could be seen streaming in as the total managed to double the amount raised in last year’s game.

Among the top donors were KSI and Logan Paul‘s Prime drinks company which donated £250,000.

The second biggest donation came from ‘YooTooz’, which gave £59,524 to the charity pot.

JME – a rapper who played for Sidemen – also showed his generous side as he donated £37.5k.

The total has worked out to more than double the amount that was raised during the Sidemen Charity Match at The Valley last year.

Rays of Sunshine posted a message thanking people for their donations on Twitter.

It read: “Thank you @sidemen and all the fans who donate to help grant more magical wishes for seriously ill children.”

The money came in so fast that before the game even started over £1m had already been raised.

The match ended in a thrilling 8-5 win for the Sidemen FC team as they beat YouTube Allstars.

Sidemen FC were helped out with some appalling goalkeeping form xQc as he earned the lowest rating from FotMob ever.

One goal against xQc came from West Ham fan and YouTuber Ethan Payne.

YouTube Allstars ace IShowSpeed also entertained the crowd but did let emotions get the best of him as he had a bust-up with AngryGinge.

While fans at home were glad to see Elz the Witch presenting the stream.
