ASDA shoppers are rushing to buy a “game changing” £25 air fryer.
Air fryers regularly sell out across different retailers, so shoppers are always quick to share when they’ve spotted a good deal.
Shoppers have been rushing to buy a £25 air fryer from Asda
Asda is currently selling its own-brand air fryer at a reduced price.
Customers can pick up the appliance at their local store for £25 instead of £28 – a reduction of £3.
The deal was shared on HotUkDeals and savvy shoppers were quick to comment.
One bargain hunter said: “Game changer for me.”
While another said: “These are excellent for a single person. Yes, it does cook unevenly so half way through cooking give your chips a shake or turn your food around.
“This is one reason my electricity bills are so low.”
And a third added: “Satisfied with that for size and use, will do generous chips and chicken for one.”
The supermarket says availability will vary from brand to branch, so it could be worth giving your local Asda a call before you visit to check.
But if you want to guarantee that you’ll get one, you can also get one through Asda’s website.
If you want to order it to your home there’s a £2.95 fee, or you can order it through click and collect without paying extra.
There’s also a minimum 30-day satisfaction guarantee on the product – so if you’re not happy you can return it for free.
The 1.5litre fryer comes with a non-stick food basket, dishwasher safe basket and weighs 2.9kg.
It also comes with a 30-minute timer so you can set it on and leave it to cook your breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The air fryer has proved so popular on Asda’s website, it’s notched up a 4.5 out of five-star rating overall and received over 1,700 five-star reviews.
It’s worth noting some shoppers have said due to its small size, the fryer might be better suited to single people.
Of course, you should always shop around when making any purchase such as this.
You can use Google Shopping which draws up products selling online, or you can go directly to retailers’ websites.
It can sometimes reveal the same, or similar, product for less money.
That said, when we looked around for a cheaper similar-style version of Asda’s £25 model, we couldn’t find anything.
The next cheapest is in Argos for £27. After that, Robert Dyas has one for £29.99.
Air fryers have gained popularity over the past year as energy bills soared because using one for 15 minutes costs just 13p.
It comes as energy bills are on everyone’s minds, and people have turned to plug in devices to save cash.
Meanwhile, Tesco shoppers have been rushing to buy a savvy energy saving gadget that scans at just £2.50 at the till.
And, fans of B&M have found a garden essential scanning at just 10p instead of £25.
