Shoppers ‘outraged & SO disappointed’ as Tesco Christmas essential is AXED from shelves

SHOPPERS have been left “outraged and so disappointed” after Tesco has dropped a Christmas essential from its shelves.

Fans of the supermarket’s turkey and stuffing ball crisps, part of Tesco’s finest range, were not happy about them being discontinued.

One person took to X, formerly Twitter, to ask what had happened after they couldn’t find them in her local store.

They wrote: “Where the EFF are the turkey and stuffing ball crisps this year?! THEY ARE SO GOOD.”

They weren’t the only person wondering what had happened to their favourite festive snack.

Another X user went online to say: “Are @Tesco doing the turkey and stuffing bites crisps this year?? I absolutely need them. I need them now.”

Someone else added: “I was sooooooo disappointed today to see that there are no turkey and stuffing ball crisps in any of my locals, have you stopped doing them?”

While a fourth said: “Err @Tesco where the chuff are the Turkey & Stuffing ball crisps this year?! If you’ve replaced them with those basic BBQ puffs I will be OUTRAGED.”

It was down to the supermarket’s social media team to deliver the devastating news.

In a reply, Tesco’s wrote: “Good morning, thanks for your patience. Our product team have advised that Tesco Finest Turkey and Stuffing Crisps 150G have been discontinued. I’m sorry for any disappointment.”

Heartbroken fans though might want to try the Christmas crisps that are available – and The Sun has already put them to the test.

We’ve also munched our way through the supermarket mince pies – the winner was “just right” beating Mr Kipling, Aldi and Lidl.

Tesco has now introduced “magic tills” in huge change that will end annoying “unexpected item in the bagging area” moments.
