The giant chocolate maker is offering a tropical pineapple flavoured bar.

One customer spotted the item at their local Londis.

Taking to the Facebook group Latest Deals, Extreme Couponing and Bargains the bargain hunter shared a snap of the controversial bar.

They said: “Dive into the exotic flavours with this unique chocolate treat Swing by Londis to grab yours.”

The new flavour ignited a debate online that could rival the pineapple on pizza war.

It boasts a “flowing tropical pineapple flavoured centre” covered with the iconic dairy milk chocolate.

A chocolate block of 180g can be nabbed for just £1 at your store or at the official Cadbury’s website.

Shoppers have been left delighted by the fruity chocolate.

One user said: “Oh dear, I love it.”

Another added: “Love pineapple on pizza, I am sure I would love it with chocolate too.”

A third penned: “I’m going to try to find this.”

But, others found the daring flavour “disgusting” – with many slamming the new combination.

One fumed: “Yuk,” and another added: “I’m not sure about that.”

A third slammed: “No thank you. Keep it on pizza.”

However, this is not the first time Cadbury caused a huge stir over one of its bars.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Slices Vanilla Passionfruit was previously only available in Australia but now they have reached British shores.

The new flavour is described as: “Dairy Milk milk chocolate with Passionfruit flavoured jelly and Vanilla flavoured creme.”

It comes as Mars launched a new flavour of biscuits based on an iconic chocolate bar following the “scrumptious” Bounty.

The Twix Secret Centre Biscuits takes the DNA of a traditional Twix bar into a handy coin-shaped biscuit.

Meanwhile. chocoholics were left excited as Morrisons launches a delicious new chocolate egg.

The egg-cellent egg has hit the shelves just in time for Easter and fans say the flavour is “perfect”.
