SAVVY mums have spotted an “amazing” deal on nappies at a major supermarket and they’re all raving about it.
Parents are facing rising costs from their shopping to their home bills, so the deal comes as a welcome relief from rocketing grocery bills too.
Morrisons has slashed the price of Pampers nappies
Morrisons has slashed the price of Pampers nappies as part of its Baby and Toddler event.
Jumbo packs of nappies, for new born babies, to size eight, are currently on sale for £10.50 – reduced from £14.99.
But one shopper, posting in the Money Saving Bargain Hunters Facebook group, revealed how parents can save even more cash my using their Morrisons loyalty card.
They wrote: “£10.50 offer price instead of £14.99, or with a MyMorrisons card it will go down to £7.49.
“This is on nappy pants (size four to seven) and taped nappies (size four to eight).
“New baby to size three is usually £12.99, but is now £10.50 on offer or £6.49 with a card.
“This is a MyMorrisons exclusive deal so you will have to scan for the offer to work.”
Parents were quick to react, with the post attracting more than 200 comments.
One Facebook user said: “Omg I need to go.”
While another said: “The best newborn nappies I used were Pampers!”
And a third said: “I need to go to Morrisons and see this.”
This is the cheapest deal on Pampers nappies that we could find, but other supermarkets are also slashing their prices.
At Tesco, shoppers can get two packs of Pampers nappies for £19 – or £11 each.
Asda is also offering customers two packs for £19, or £13 each.
While Iceland shoppers can get two packs for £20, or £15 each.
But make sure to check other retailers in case we missed a bargain.
The offer is available both instore and online, but remember you will have to pay extra if you opt for delivery.
You can find your nearest Morrisons by using the locator tool on the supermarket’s website.
And you may want to call ahead to check if it’s in stock to avoid a wasted trip.
As always, make sure to compare prices online using handy tools like Google shopping.
How can I get a My Morrisons card?
The My Morrisons App can be downloaded from the Android or Apple stores.
You can register for a digital or physical card by signing up on the app.
Customers can also register online at www.mymorrisons.com for the website experience.
If you have a physical card, you can get paper vouchers printed at the till when you shop.
Existing Morrisons card users will need to update their app for the new My Morrisons experience.
How does the Morrisons loyalty card compare to other supermarkets?
Tesco offers one point for every £1 you spend in store or online, including F&F clothing, or one pointfor every £2 spent on fuel at the supermarket.
You can also get points for using Tesco Clubcard Pay+, Tesco Bank Credit card and Tesco Mobile.
You can even earn extra points by doing surveys and filling up on fuel at Esso too.
That means 150 points gets you a £1.50 voucher.
But if you swap this for a reward it’s worth triple that, so £4.50.
You can redeem the higher rewards online and see what’s on offer on the Tesco website.
The rewards available can vary.
Sainsbury’s shoppers can collect points through the grocer’s Nectar Card scheme.
To collect the points, customers simply shop as usual through the year and scan their Nectar card at the check out either in-store or online.
For every £1 spent, shoppers get one Nectar point – each point is usually worth 0.5p when redeemed in store.
