Arsenal stopper Ramsdale bickered with Spurs man Richarlison at the end of the game.

The forward angrily pushed Ramsdale in the side of the head.

As a steward led Ramsdale away to the edge of the pitch, a fan sat in the Spurs section kicked out at the England goalie.

Players from both sets of teams then ran over as tempers flared.

Ramsdale was led away from in front of the Spurs stand by Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta then took over, dragging his goalie towards the travelling supporters.

When asked what happened by Sky Sports, Ramsdale said: “The Spurs fans were giving me some flak [in the] second half.

“I gave them some back, which to the people I did it to it was probably well greeted, you know, sportsmanship like.

“Then a fan tried to jump over and gave me a little punch on the back.

“That’s what happened and it’s a shame because it’s just a game of football at the end of the day.”

He added: “I think both sets of players tried to bring me away and thankfully nothing actually happened to drastically.

“It’s a sour taste but I’m sure we’ll enjoy it when we go back in the dressing room.”
