Scrotum ‘webbing’ op that boosts penis size and sex life surges in popularity

A TYPE of penis enlargement surgery which can also improve your sex life has surged in popularity, new figures suggest.

Scrotal webbing surgery, which involves removing the excess skin between the penis and testicles, has doubled in popularity since the pandemic.

Cosmetic surgeon, Dr Ahmed Alsayed from Signature Clinic, told The Sun he had seen a 120 per cent rise in demand for the procedure during the last year alone.

He puts the upswing in penis enhancing surgeries down to men spending more time at home during the Covid pandemic with ample time to analyse their members.

“Being happy with your body is a huge part of leading a fulfilling life, so if you have an issue with your scrotum it has the potential to lead to anxiety and even depression,” Dr Ahmed explained.

Scrotal webbing can often hide the true size of a penis.

The expert said: “The extra skin may hide the actual length of their penile shaft, making it appear shorter and therefore making men far more self conscious in the bedroom.”

The webbed skin condition can also lead to an array of health problems.

“Many men suffer from excess skin between their penis and testicles which causes pain or discomfort during their day-to-day activities,” the expert explained.

“Often the scrotum is attached further up the shaft, while there have been cases recorded where this is as far up as the head of the penis.

“It therefore may not support the testicles during urination and may even cause discomfort or pain during sex.”

The procedure, which takes just one hour to complete, is carried out under local anaesthetic and patients can be back at work in as little as three days.

Many of the most popular plastic surgery procedures more than doubled in Britain last year, new data suggests.

Some 31,057 surgeries were performed in 2022, up 102 per cent on the previous year, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (The BAAPS).

Figures were expected to rise after the Covid pandemic but experts were surprised they are above pre-2020 numbers.

PENIS SIZE

A recent study found the average length of a penis has grown by 25 per cent in the past 30 years.

From 1992 to 2021, the average erect member jumped from 4.8inches to 6inches, analysis from US experts found.

However, while you might think this could only be a good thing for men, medics are concerned at the findings.

Writing in the World Journal of Men’s Health, the team at Stanford University said the increase in size could be down to poor diets, sedentary lifestyles and chemicals.

They said these factors could also have a negative impact on fertility.

In the UK, it’s thought the average penis ranges from 3.5-5.8 inches.
