As exclusive SunSport pictures showed, Ibrox took a pounding from the extreme weather.
Rangers’ Broomloan Stand took a huge hit with a huge, gaping void visible at the top of the stand.
But on the other side of the city, Glasgow United have been left dismayed by huge damage done to their Greenfield Park home.
The Shettleston-based West of Scotland League outfit took to social media to show the sheer scale of the destruction done.
The dramatic pictures show that the changing room roof has almost been ENTIRELY torn off by the storms.
In a further blow, the metal parts ripped from the roof landed on the pitch, and caused further devastating damage.
Pictures show huge divots on the surface with the grass torn by the objects.
The gutted club said: “The club today is devastated by destruction caused by last night’s storm that caused a sizeable amount of damage, taking the roof off our changing room building and causing parts of the pitch to be ripped up by flying metal roof parts.
“This will have a substantial impact on the club going forward and any help would be greatly appreciated.”
Following that statement, Glasgow United launched a Go Fund Me with the aim of gathering funds to help repair the huge damage done to the roof.
As well as the visible damage outside, the changing rooms inside have also been subjected to major damage.
The club have set a target of raising £10,000.
Amid the grim situation, Glasgow United did share a positive update.
They revealed that a local company, Cladco, had reached out to help with a view of aiding the roof repair.
