Actor Ryan Reynolds has made a candid admission about his mental health.
The Deadpool star, 46, told Page Six on Monday that his mind often ”spins out of control”.
The star, who has been open with his battle with anxiety in the past, said his mental health is “not always great, to be honest”.

“I certainly have my own little rituals and those kinds of things that help me stay grounded and keep my mind from spinning out of control,” he told the publication at the Bring Change to Mind’s 11th Annual Revels & Revelations Gala in New York.
He said he often turns to meditation to get through the tough times.
“I’m sort of aware of that stuff and I manage it as well as you can.”

Reynolds told Mr Porter back in 2018 that he turns to exercise to “expel those demons”.
“I tend to get pretty depressed and I have some issues with anxiety and things like that,” he explained.
“For me, it is more psychological. Exercise is a means of expelling those demons.”
He also previously shared an Instagram post about his “lifelong” battle with anxiety for mental health awareness month and told his followers that they are ”not alone”.

“One of the reasons I’m posting this so late is I over-schedule myself and important things slip,” Reynolds wrote at the time.
“And one of the reasons I over-schedule myself is my lifelong pal, anxiety. I know I’m not alone and more important, to all those like me who over schedule, overthink, overwork, over-worry and over-everything, please know you’re not alone.”
He added, “We don’t talk enough about mental health and don’t do enough to destigmatise talking about it. But, as with this post, better late than never, I hope…”
Just a year ago, Reynolds, who is married to Gossip Girl‘s Blake Lively, underwent a ‘life-saving’ colonoscopy on camera where his doctor discovered an ”extremely subtle polyp”.
