A TOP Kremlin official has warned of a “direct clash” between NATO and Russia that could have “catastrophic consequences.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has claimed NATO is a “serious threat” to Russia, and added “direct clash” between the two nuclear powers would have “catastrophic consequences.”
The Putin ally went on to slam the US for allegedly rejecting talks with Moscow over so-called “strategic stability” between the nations.
This comes as Putin’s army launched a fresh round of shelling in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.
The attacks, which mainly targeted Ukrainian energy infrastructure, forced the region’s civilians to flee into bomb shelters across the city.
