Romelu Lukaku scores FOUR for Belgium as former Man Utd and Chelsea star jumps to seventh in all-time list

And Lukaku made it four moments later before Leandro Trossard of Arsenal’s 90th minute effort completed a 5-0 thrashing.

Belgium had already qualified for next summer’s tournament.

But the result saw them seal top spot in Group F, one point ahead of rivals Austria.

And no-one was happier than Lukaku, who is currently on loan at Roma from Chelsea.

His four goals saw him jump to seventh in the all-time international list with 83 strikes to his name.

Lukaku is now joint with UAE legend Ali Mabkhout.

And he has moved above Poland’s Robert Lewandowski too.

With time on his side, Lukaku can continue moving up the charts before Euro 2024 even starts.

Lukaku is now joint-seventh in the all-time list

He is just one goal behind Hungary’s Ferenc Puskas and six off Malaysia’s Mokhtar Dahari.

But the top four will prove hard to crack.

Sunil Chhetri of India has 89 goals, while Lionel Messi has struck 106 times for Argentina.

Iran icon Ali Daei remains second on 109, while Cristiano Ronaldo continues to fire them home for Portugal and is on a staggering 128.
