Rockers Coldplay reportedly split from manager of 22 years and sued over ”contractual dispute”

The members of Coldplay have reportedly split from their longtime manager Dave Holmes and are now being sued by him.

Variety reports the band, who are known for hits including A Sky Full of Stars and Fix You, “quietly parted ways” with Holmes last year after 22 years of working together.

The publication claims the lawsuit is over a “contractual dispute”.

A representative of the band told Variety they “parted ways” with Holmes 12 months ago.

Phil Harvey, Mandi Frost and Arlene Moon reportedly still manage the band, according to the publication.

The band, fronted by Chris Martin, 46, formed in London in 1997 and are considered one of the biggest bands in the industry.

In July, it was reported by The Sun that the band is in talks to headline Glastonbury next year.

The publication reports a break in their world tour schedule from June 26 – 30, which is the dates of the festival.

The band has previously headlined the event in 2002, 2005, 2011 and 2016.

Earlier this year, Martin revealed he no longer eats dinner after hearing how Bruce Springsteen, 73, keeps in shape.

Speaking on TV host Conan O’Brien‘s podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, the Fix You singer said he stops eating for the day at 4pm.

“Funnily enough, I don’t actually have dinner anymore. I stop eating at 4, and I learned that from having lunch with Bruce Springsteen,” the singer said with a laugh.

An incredulous O’Brien replied, “really?”, to which Martin said, “that’s really true, yeah.”

Martin, who is 46, revealed that he visited Springsteen and his wife Patti Boyd for lunch one day, and was amazed by how fit the 73-year-old singer appeared.

“I was on a really strict diet anyway, but I was like ‘Bruce looks even more in shape than me’,” the singer recalled.

“And Patti said, ‘Oh he’s only eating one meal a day’, so I was like ‘Well, there we go. That’s my next challenge,'” he said.

Martin didn’t go on to share the health benefits he feels from eating, supposedly, only two meals a day, nor whether he religiously sticks to this diet.
