Ferdinand believes the reigning champions City are likely to drop just two more points and, if results go their way, will win a fourth consecutive title.
The TV pundit predicted Pep Guardiola‘s side will win all their remaining games except a 2-2 draw against Spurs.
Meanwhile, Arsenal the same as 12 months ago lead the table going into this weekend’s top-flight fixtures.
But the Gunners have not got an easy run of games as they face the likes of United, Tottenham and Chelsea in the coming weeks.
And Ferdinand fears Arsenal will lose twice throughout the Premier League run-in and are unlikely to finish the season victorious.
Sunday’s game against top-four hopefuls Aston Villa and a trip to Wolves may also put a spanner in the works for Mikel Arteta‘s men.
Ferdinand cannot see the Gunners taking maximum points from their final seven games.
The ex-United defender has predicted Arsenal would lose 2-1 away at London rivals Spurs and 3-2 at Old Trafford.

He also thinks Liverpool will get into some trouble after losing 3-0 in the first leg of the quarter-finals against Atalanta.
The Reds still have the Merseyside derby and given the Toffees’ need for points in their fight to stay up this will not be an easy game.
And Jurgen Klopp‘s side still needs to face Spurs and Villa who are battling it out for a Champions League spot next term.
