It’s been just over two months since the daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, died at age 54 from cardiac arrest.
In the meantime, her mother, Priscilla missed the Oscars and champagne carpet as well as all of the parties as she was allegedly advised by her legal team not to attend.
The ex-wife of of the King of Rock and Roll skipped the opportunity to attend the Oscars alongside Austin Butler, who was nominated for Best Actor for his performance in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis.

Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough who is actually fighting her grandmother in court regarding the control of Elvis’ estate did however attend the Vanity Fair after party.
The scandal surrounding the Presley family regarding Elvis’ estate has surpassed the immense success of the film and despite being nominated for many categories, it didn’t win any awards.
A source told The US Sun exclusively that Priscilla’s absence from the events wasn’t her choice. ”The lawyers in the case played a major role that night,” the source said.
“With so many people who know Priscilla attending the ceremony, there was no way that she would have not interacted with them, and of course potentially discussed the case.”

“Truthfully, it was and is the subject much of Hollywood is talking about because it was so shocking to see the family split during a time of grief and also a time of celebration for the movie.”
The drama surrounds Graceland and who will have control over the $718 million (AUD) estate.
Graceland belonged to Lisa Marie as she stated in 2013, “Graceland was given to me and will always be mine, and then passed to my children. It will never be sold.”

Priscilla is fighting against her granddaughter Riley over the estate of her late ex-husband which was passed down to Lisa Marie. She claims clauses in her will are incorrect.
Although in the past the only daughter of Elvis had struggled with drug abuse, she was believed to be clean. The e autopsy results are still pending.
