REAL MADRID take on Egyptian giants Al-Ahly for a place in the Club World Cup final.

Los Blancos will be aiming to win the Club World Cup for the eighth time in their history and for the first time since 2018.

The Spanish champions aren’t in the best form and find themselves eight points behind Barcelona in the La Liga title race.

Al-Ahly competing in their eighth Club World Cup finished third in the past two editions but have never made the final.

They advanced past Auckland City in the first round with a comfortable 3-0 win.

The Egyptians set up a semi final with Real Madrid as they snatched a late win against MLS side Seattle Sounders in the second round as an 88th minute goal from Mohamed Magdy secured a 1-0 win.
