“It is with a shattered heart that I write this post to let you know that my sweet Josh left this earth Easter Sunday,” she began.
“No one can ever prepare you for this feeling of such deep loss. Every fiber in my body hurts.
“Josh fought every single day for most of his adult life, for his life, but this past Sunday, the challenge was too great.”
Peterson spoke of her son’s childhood, which she said was filled with laughter, pranks and sport, then touched on the “hardships” Waring faced as an adult.
She didn’t go into detail about his legal troubles, which included pleading guilty to a drug charge in 2022 and sentenced to two years in prison.
Prior to that, Waring spent four years in prison for attempted murder after shooting a man in 2016.

Instead, the bereaved mother focused on Waring’s sense of humour and his love for his family, including his daughter Kennady.
“He received the most joy, pride and purpose through his daughter Kennady and watching her grow and thrive over the years,” Peterson wrote.
“Thank you to all of the people that have tried to help Josh along the way. I am witness to many Angels on earth.”

“Not everyone understands those suffering from substance abuse disorder, but I am forever grateful for your understanding and the impact you made on his life,” Peterson continued.
The RHOC alum ended the emotional message by saying she will miss her son terrible and will always be his ‘Mama Bear’.
She concluded: “My heart is with you and I pray you have found the peace that you so deserve.”
