RASMUS HOJLUND will have to wait a little longer for his first Manchester United goal after VAR ruled out his strike against Brighton.
The £72million Dane, 20, found the back of the net from Marcus Rashford’s pullback shortly before half-time.

Premier LeagueVAR spotted the ball had gone out before Hojlund scored[/caption]
But following a VAR review, the goal was disallowed as the ball had gone out of play before Rashford cut it across.
And the Man Utd faithful were left frustrated as Brighton went into the break with a 1-0 lead.
One said: “Nothing is even going right .”
While another added: “VAR is using Manchester United as test subject this season .”
A third replied: “First Garnacho and now Hojlund. It’s always the 1mm difference I cba..”
Man Utd YouTuber Mark Goldbridge was also left furious, saying: “That’s a nonsense. They’re guessing about that ball being out 100 per cent because they don’t have the tech. So they should go with the goal.”
Man Utd were denied a late goal against Arsenal before the international break as a VAR review showed Alejandro Garnacho to be marginally offside.
The goal would have given Erik ten Hag’s men a 2-1 lead, but they ended up losing 3-1 as the Gunners struck late.

Hojlund, who scored 10 goals in 34 games for Atalanta last season, made his Man Utd debut as a substitute against Arsenal.
But the Brighton game was his first start for the club as the Red Devils sought to turn things around after losses to Tottenham and Arsenal in their opening four Premier League matches.
However, it was the visitors who struck first at Old Trafford as former United striker Danny Welbeck broke the deadlock.
The Brighton clash comes four days before Ten Hag’s men kick off their Champions League campaign away at Bayern Munich.
