A RARE Ford dubbed “one of the most exclusive cars in the world” by Jeremy Clarkson is on sale at a bargain price.
The “modern classic” has racked up just 62,000 miles over the past two decades.

The Ford Mondeo became so popular in the UK that the term ‘Mondeo Man‘ was used to describe the average Brit in the 1990s.
And the Mondeo ST 220 was one of the finest examples of the fan-favourite model.
The variant was only made between 2002 and 2007 and, according to the listing on Car & Classic, is “getting rare [to find] in this condition.
Jeremy Clarkson, reviewing the ST220 in 2006 on Top Gear, even dubbed it “one of the most exclusive cars in the world”.
The presenter said: “It’s very well-proportioned and rather handsome.
“And my god it drives well.
“The steering’s brilliant, the ride’s spot on, it’s practical.”
And with, at the time, a price tag of just £24,000 it’s easy to see why it was revered as one of the great cars of the people.
This one, though, can be had for a lot cheaper than that.
The 2003 ST220 is being offered for just £4,995 despite its excellent condition and relatively low mileage.
That’s a real bargain, especially considering that the Mondeo is likely to go up in value after being discontinued in 2021.
Even better, the car comes with a bevy of pricey optional extras already installed.
This includes a Bluetooth phone-enabled headset, remodelled exhaust system, preservative-treated chassis and fully rust-proofed subframe.
It’s clear from these that the two previous owners took great pride in, and great care of, the attractive silver Mondeo.
The interior is trimmed with spotless Flint grey leather and has been thoroughly cleaned.
Likewise, the car comes with a full service history and 12-month MOT, having only been serviced last month.
The listing adds: “Brilliant condition, couple of small marks here and there.
“A really nice example of this appreciating hatchback.
“A useable modern classic with a superb engine.”
It comes after a major car brand dropped two models from its UK lineup, meaning it now only sells hybrids and EVs.
