A FEMALE member of staff at Manor House Stables, owned by former Liverpool and England footballer Michael Owen, died suddenly at the yard on Tuesday.
The stable posted a notice about the tragic incident on social media and the news was confirmed later in the day by Cheshire Police.

The 25-year-old woman was said to have collapsed while at the stable on Tuesday morning but she has not been named.
The statement from Manor Farm Stables said: “It is with deep sadness that we have to announce that a much-valued member of our team died at work this morning.
“The family have been informed and both the family and the team at Manor House request privacy at this time.”
Manor House Stables, which is near the Welsh border, is a state-of-the-art training facility which has been the base of Hugo Palmer for the last 12 months.

It was built and developed by Owen, a successful Group 1 winning racehorse owner, who previously employed Tom Dascombe at the yard before the pair split last year.
In a statement, Cheshire Police said: “At around 8.50am today, police were made aware that a 25-year-old woman had collapsed at a stables on Old Coach Road, Malpas.
“Emergency services attended the location and, despite the best efforts of all those involved, the woman sadly died at the scene.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and her next of kin have been informed. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Racing fans shared their condolences and paid tribute to the team at Manor House Stables.
One said: “Sad day, very sad condolences to everyone and best wishes to the whole team.”
