It means that shoppers will no longer be able to buy the tubs online this Christmas.
Fans of the festive staple took to social media to ask Quality Street when they would be able to buy personalised tins online.
It comes after John Lewis announced the return of its Quality Street personalisation stations, where shoppers can make pick ‘n’ mix tins.
The service, which launched in 2018, allows shoppers to make bespoke tins filled with just their favourite sweets for £15.
Plus, they could even add their name, or that of a loved one, to make a thoughtful Christmas gift for £17.
But shoppers were left disappointed when Quality Street replied to say they will no longer be able to order them online this year.
One Facebook user asked: “Quality Street, can’t you order personalised tins online anymore?? I’ve done this for the last few years.”
In response, Quality Street said: “I’m sorry to say that our Quality Street webshop will not be open this year.”
Shoppers flocked to the comments to blast the decision.
One angry customer said: “They’ve stitched online customers up.
“I’ve purchased a couple of personalised tins for the past two years.
“Now all they can say is SORRY!!”
While another wrote: “Quality Street noooooo. Why??”
And a third added: “That’s disappointing. I just thought it would be an excellent Christmas present this year.
“I have ordered a personal tin in the past.”
The Sun has contacted Nestle for comment.
