Premier League side blasted as ‘complete and utter disgrace’ after revealing new stadium upgrade completion date

FULHAM fans have dubbed the club a “disgrace” after the completion date of Craven Cottage’s upgrade was revealed.

The Riverside Stand is currently being redeveloped but is unlikely to be completed by the start of the 2024/25 season.

Fulham’s Riverside Stand is not expected to be completed for the start of next seasonRex

Work on the stand has been ongoing for the last five years, with Fulham fans paying up to £3,000 for a season ticket.

The prices for tickets at Craven Cottage are among the most expensive in the Premier League.

The redevelopment is planned to increase the capacity of the stand from 4,689 to 8,650.

This will see the overall capacity of Craven Cottage rise to 29,300 spectators.

There will also be new restaurants, cafes, bars and a corporate hospitality and event space.

After hearing the latest news, supporters were left fuming as they took to social media.

One fan slammed: “£3,000 for a season ticket and it STILL won’t be finished over five years since works standard.

“A complete and utter disgrace.”
