Pop star Ava Max has been attacked by a ‘fan’ mid-show just days after a similar incident happened to Bebe Rexha.
The Sweet but Psycho singer, 29, was midway through a show in LA when a man climbed up onto the stage and smacked her in the face.
A fan in the audience captured the entire ordeal on video which showed the man being bear-hugged by a security guard before he extends his arm and smacks the singer.

Max continued dancing and singing before saying goodbye to the crowd and promptly left the stage.
She later hopped on Twitter to further explain what had happened:
“He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again 😡😡thank you to the fans for being spectacular tonight in LA though!!”

Max’s manager, Scooter Braun also shared a photo of the singer backstage pressing a cold beer bottle to her eye to relieve the pain.
A fan on Twitter who attended the show also shared insight into the incident writing:
“I was there tonight. The guy rushed on stage at the end right when the last song ended. The security guard tackled him and literally THREW him down the stairs. Wild!!! It happened so fast.”

The fan also attended a VIP meet and greet which Max attended despite her injury, he explained that the star couldn’t even open her eyes properly and yet still spent time with those who had purchased the premium packages.
“You can see here she couldn’t even open her eyes but she STILL did M&G. ILYSM.”
According to TMZ, after the man was whisked off stage by security he explained that he simply wanted to “hold” the star.

This incident comes just two days after pop star Bebe Rexha sustained injuries after a fan pelted his phone at her face causing a laceration to her eye.
Similarly to Ava Max, Rexha’s entire ordeal was captured by fans in the audience which led to the perpetrator being pinpointed within the crowd, escorted out and eventually charged with assault.
