CHELSEA face a horror start to the season as they kick things off at home to Liverpool.
The Blues have not beaten Liverpool at home in the Prem since May 2018 and are without a win in six games against Jurgen Klopp‘s side.

Mauricio Pochettino’s record against the Reds is not much better, having won just three games out of 16 and lost nine – one of which was the 2019 Champions League final.

But the fans and board alike will be hoping ex-Tottenham boss Pochettino can turn things around.
Chelsea’s next match against a Big Six team is the visit of Arsenal on October 21, who Pochettino has only won four games against previously.

After that Poch faces a very difficult run with London derbies against Brentford and Tottenham followed by Manchester City at home.
The fixtures do not get much easier after that against Newcastle, Brighton and Manchester United – meaning Chelsea play seven games in a row against teams that finished in the top ten last season.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace travel to Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day and Chelsea’s first league game of 2024 comes at home to Fulham.
Chelsea conclude the season at home to Bournemouth and will fancy their run-in with games against Aston Villa, West Ham and Forest.
