It may be the last chance to play Assassin’s Creed Liberation online, too.

The game follows a hero sentenced to death by their family who embarks on a journey to evolve from an outcast mercenary to a legendary Greek hero.

Odyssey is set in 431 BCE, and recounts the ‘secret history’ of the Peloponnesian War, fought between the city-states of ancient Greece.

“That’s a lot of great game for the cash! Certainly my favourite in the series,” one player wrote on HotUKDeals.

“For me, the Odyssey DLC stories were the real highlight in the story, better than the main game.”

Another player on Metacritic called the title “a masterpiece!”

They added: “What an awesome RPG! The amount of work Ubisoft have put in that game to attain that level of detail and depth of the world is incredible.

“A true gift of the gods for us players! And the humongous amount of content is unbelievable! The graphics, the combat system, the loot, the goods, the builds; everything is a must!”

Although some feel the title veers to far away from the classic Assassin’s Creed games.

Odyssey turns back time to Ancient Greece, the earliest historical period in the series.

“Game looks great and all but this isn’t an Assassin’s Creed game, might have the title but everything about it goes against what Assassin’s Creed was meant to be,” another player wrote on Metacritic.

Another wrote: “It is an awful game that has nothing to do with the franchise.

“As a stand alone Ancient Greece RPG, sure the game has legs.

“But as an AC game, it’s nothing.”

The current deal is for the PS4 and PS5 compatible title.

Gamers have a little over two weeks to make a decision on whether to snap up the bargain bundle.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – ULTIMATE EDITION will return to its standard price in the PlayStation Store at midnight on 17 November.
