A PILOT has revealed the sneaky way you can avoid standing in huge queues while waiting to board.

Anyone who flies regularly will know if they’re sat at the gate as people wait to get on their flight, you don’t join the long line.

It’s much better to wait until most of the travellers have boarded so you’re not sat on a cramped plane for longer than needed.

And now a pilot has revealed more reasons for why you shouldn’t rush to join the queue.

Sharing a sneaky hack to TikTok, James told his followers that you can simply download an app which will show you where the plane is.

It also helps if you’re in a rush to know if it will take off on time or not.

James explained that FlightRadar allows passengers to track the aircraft and let you know if it’s even landed at your current airport.

In the short clip he said: “Why does EasyJet always do this.

EasyJet has asked us to make our way make our way to gate 11 here at Belfast Airport for boarding but who wants to be the first person to tell all of the passengers that this aircraft has not even left Liverpool yet.

“All of these people are going to be standing there for a vey long time.

“It’s going to be at least another hour before this aircraft arrives.”

The app is free to download and can help you keep tabs on your plane’s activity.

It comes after frequent flyers were shocked by a secret hack that could see you avoid security queues.

According to one passenger, it cuts down the time you spend waiting to be searched to just 10 minutes.
