Piers Morgan feels Utd’s woes run deeper than a slow start to 2022-23The Mega Agency
The Sun columnist believes United are proving Cristiano Ronaldo RIGHT in the famous TalkTV interview that led to the legend departing Old Trafford.
Ten Hag‘s men were outplayed in their second defeat in four Premier League matches, although the Gunners needed two deep in stoppage time to win.
And Morgan gave a scathing verdict of United‘s display, even appearing to compare the row over Jadon Sancho being left out to the Ronaldo saga.
He told talkSPORT: “I think they are crap.
“I am sorry to have to use that kind of word at this time of the morning for the more sensitive listeners.
“I honestly think it is one of the poorest Man United teams that has come to Arsenal.
“I think back to the glory years of Sir Alex Ferguson, none of this lot would get into Ferguson’s teams.
“It got to the stage when Harry Maguire came on, Arsenal fans cheered!”

Morgan believes United’s problems run far deeper than a slow start to Ten hag’s second season.
He added: “There is something inherently wrong with United, and if you look back to my interview with Cristiano Ronaldo, pretty much everything he said about Manchester United, the club, structure, Ten Hag, all of those chickens have come home to roost.
“Everything he said was right, and I think if you look at the issue with Jadon Sancho, then this is Ronaldo all over again.
“Him [Ten Hag] going public and criticising players. Players deeming he is being misleading about them, and then having to go public themselves.
“It comes a point when Ten Hag needs to look at himself.”
