The title of the video reads: ‘Top 3 ways to save money on petrol.’
He started by saying: “Hey, have you seen the petrol prices? It’s something like two pounds a litre. Yeah, those prices are killing me.
“I think is costing me £100 for a full tank. Well did you know that there are a few things you can do to save money on petrol?”
The poster believes that it’s important to make your car as efficient as possible to save hundreds on petrol.
He continued: “You have to make your car more efficient. That means a longer time between filling up.
“You can do this by keeping your tyres inflated, taking off your roof rack and turning down your air con – opening your windows at lower speeds.
“And turning on the air conditioning when you travel at high speed.
His number two tip is driving more efficiently.
He said: “You can do this by accelerating gradually, keeping your revs below 3000 and keeping your car constantly moving and changing gear earlier than feels natural.
He recommends searching online for the cheapest petrol station.
“Finding websites where you can find petrol and diesel cheap in your area, you can do this on petrolprices.com.”
