PEPSI has announced the release of the new “best ever” flavoured drink – but not everyone agrees.
The popular soft drink brand is expanding its fruit-flavoured line-up and has launched a new variety.

The Pepsi MAX Mango is the latest fizzy drink and fans can now grab one at their nearest supermarket.
The beverage was described by manufacturers as “the brand’s best ever” new summer flavour.
Although it was initially only exclusive to Tesco, the sugar-free drink is now available for shoppers in supermarkets nationwide.
There are currently more than eight Pepsi flavours – including different ranges of diet, caffeine free and original.
The latest variety joins the previously launched Raspberry, Cherry and Lime fruity line.
The arrival of the new fizzy drink was previously announced in a pop-up event at various London stations – including Kings Cross and Waterloo.
Dozens of commuters were able to taste samples of the new flavour earlier this month.
At the time, the cola brand launched an advertising campaign with a series of social media content in collaboration with influencers Nella Rose, Formz and GK Barry.
Marketing Manager Dagmar Emery said: “Pepsi MAX Mango is the latest move in our commitment to delivering bold and delicious flavours that our consumers love.
“Last summer’s Taste Challenge saw 70% of participants across the UK prefer the refreshing taste of Pepsi MAX to the nation’s biggest selling full-sugar cola in a blind taste test.
“And now we’ve given the nation’s preferred taste an irresistible mango twist so you can get a taste of summer, even in those bleak winter months.
“We’re thrilled to say hello to Mango in style, giving commuters one last taste of summer and a sunny new drink to keep Seasonal Denial Syndrome at bay.”
Dozens of Pepsi drinkers took to social media to share their honest opinions on Facebook.
One satisfied user, Chris Bates said: “I’m calling it. With the exception of sugar free A&W Root Beer, the new Mango Pepsi Max is the best soft drink there is.
“I don’t know why, it just is. Of course, you’re allowed to disagree.
“That won’t make you anything other than wrong though.”
Another user, Claire Pengelly agreed: “It’s so nice! Best flavour yet.”
But not everyone was impressed by the “bold” flavour.
Other users weren’t so convinced and said they preferred the old traditional Pepsi drinks.
Emma Thorlby slammed: “That sounds unimaginably horrid!”
“Got to be the original one for me,” user Natalie Graham fumed.
Brits can now snap up their Pepsi Mango for £3.75 with Nectar card at Sainsbury’s.
You can also buy a pack of 24 cans for a reduced price of £7 with Tesco Clubcard – otherwise it costs £10.
It comes as the manufacturer of Pepsi previously made a huge change to its drinks – and it could make it taste different.
PepsiCo confirmed that its classic fizzy drinks now have 57 per cent less sugar in them.
The classic Pepsi, which comes in a blue can, will now have 4.55g of sugar per 100ml.
