People are only just realising you can still buy popular discontinued chocolate bar – but there’s a catch

SHOPPERS are only just realising that there’s a way to buy a popular discontinued chocolate bar.

Fans of MilkyWay’s Crispy Rolls have discovered how to get the sweet treat after noticing it was axed from shelves last year.

The bar was a fan favorite among chocolate loversMars

They were a popular bar among chocolate lovers and were one of the top bars voters wanted to make a comeback.

But chocolate aficionados can breathe a sigh of relief as there are several little-known confectionary websites that are selling the fan favorite.

Sweettreatsandpartyfavours.co.uk, Belito.co.uk and sosweetshop.co.uk all stock the MilkyWay favourite.

And shoppers have taken to Facebook to share their discovery.

One wrote: “Not had one of these for years!”

While another tagged her friend and said: “Oh my what were we talking about yesterday.”

And another commented: “Say what?!”

However, the news comes with a catch – the bars are pretty expensive.

Sosweetshop.co.uk is selling a single choc bar for £1.49 per 25g bar and delivery will cost you £3.55.

That’s £5.04 just for the sake of one chocolate bar.

If you know you’ll enjoy a few Crispy Rolls then Sweettreatsandpartyfavours.co.uk has a box of 24 for £30 – that works out at £1.25 per bar.

Delivery will set you back an extra £4.45 – so that’s a total of £34.45 for one box.

Belito is selling them at £10.70 for a box of 24, working out at 44p per chocolate.

This is the cheapest if you compare the website prices per bar.

But bear in mind that shopping costs £6.75 so you’ll be paying £17.45 in total.

MilkWay crispy rolls are made from milk chocolate covered wafer biscuits with a light whipped filling.

It’s always wise to to shop around for the best deals.

While most supermarkets no longer stock the MilkWay favourite, some shoppers have claimed they’ve found them elsewhere.

Another said on Facebook: “I could still get them in local newsagent and B&M.”

Old chocolate bars can bring a delicious wave of nostalgia and it can be exciting to be able to buy them again.

If there’s an extinct chocolate bar that you’re missing, you’re not alone.

Choc fans were devastated when they realised Milky Way Crispy Rolls may now have joined them on the great supermarket aisle in the sky in 2022.

In response to the rumours, a spokesperson for Mars Wrigley UK told The Sun at the time: “While Milky Way Crispy Rolls are currently in a galaxy far, far away we’re pleased to offer many delicious alternatives such as Milky Way Magic Stars, Maltesers, Mars and of course, the traditional Milky Way.

“The love for Milky Way Crispy Rolls has been out of this world and we’ve certainly taken note!”

Spokespeople for B&M and the Co-Op told the Sun that they no longer stock them.

Poundland, which is also thought to have been among the few stores that were selling Crispy Rolls also said they aren’t stocking it.
